Dr Tara Kim, BSC, DMD
Dr. Tara Kim is a graduate of the University of British Columbia Faculty of Dentistry and brings over 26 years of clinical experience to her patients. She has a genuine passion for dentistry and takes pride in helping every patient achieve their healthiest, most confident smile.
Dr. Kim is dedicated to continuing education and staying current with advanced treatment techniques. In 2018, she completed the Hiossen Mini-Residency in the placement of dental implants and implant site preparation surgeries. Since then, she has continued her implant training through years of study clubs and numerous hands-on continuing education programs focused on implant dentistry and surgical excellence.
A Commitment to Community
Dr. Kim believes oral health education should begin early. She has a passion for teaching young children the importance of dental care and regularly visits kindergarten classrooms to promote healthy habits and positive dental experiences.
She also believes quality dental care should be accessible to everyone. In 2025, she volunteered in Guatemala, helping provide dental treatment in underserved communities.
Care for Patients with Special Needs
Dr. Kim has extensive experience treating patients who require additional support and accommodations. She sees young children who are nervous or unable to cooperate for treatment under general anesthesia (GA). She is also one of the few dentists in Vancouver who treats patients with severe disabilities under GA, helping ensure safe and compassionate care for individuals who may otherwise struggle to access treatment.
Her philosophy is simple: dental health is important, and it should be accessible to all.
Dr David Lee, BSC, DMD
Dr. David Lee is a compassionate dentist dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy smiles and long-term oral health.
Dr. Lee attended the University of British Columbia (UBC), where he completed both his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degrees.
Dr. Lee strongly believes that eating is one of the greatest pleasures in life, and he is passionate about helping patients maintain healthy teeth and comfortable function through quality dental care. He values open communication and strives to listen carefully to each patient’s concerns in order to provide personalized and thoughtful treatment.
Known for his warm and approachable nature, Dr. Lee aims to create a comfortable and trusting environment where patients feel heard, respected, and well cared for. He looks forward to serving the community through compassionate dentistry focused on both oral health and overall well-being.
